Day 01 EDINBURGH : All flights/trains leads to Edinburgh.
Today you embark on your tour when you board your flight/train to Edinburgh. On arrival after immigration transfer on your own to the hotel check in and Relax. Overnight stay at Edinburgh hotel.
Day 02 ISLE OF SKYE : North to the Cairngorms
Departing from the historic heart of Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital city, we will begin our journey north, stopping to see the impressive Forth Railway Bridge. This UNESCO world heritage site is one the most famous images of Scotland and is a spectacular example of Victorian engineering. We will then continue our journey to the quaint Victorian town of Pitlochry, traditionally considered to be one of the gateways to the Highlands, where you’ll have time to explore and grab a morning coffee if you choose to.

Our journey will continue through the imposing mountains of the Cairngorms National Park, home to many of Scotland’s highest mountains. We will then make our way to the pretty village of Fort Augustus for lunch. This village sits on the southern shores of Loch Ness, so you’ll have plenty of time and some fantastic vantage points to try to spot to the elusive monster, Nessie.
Through the western wilderness
Next, we shall pass through the dramatic landscapes of Glen Shiel to Eilean Donan Castle, which is one of the most iconic and picturesque castles in Scotland. Eilean Donan is famous due its spectacular location on Loch Duich, with the mountains of Kintail towering over the loch. You will be able explore the castle and it’s extraordinary surroundings, before continuing our short journey to cross the bridge to the Isle of Skye, where you will be staying for the two nights of this tour.
Day 03 ISLE OF SKYE : A whole day to explore Skye…
You’ll have the whole of the third day to explore Skye with your knowledgeable driver-guide, who will vary the exact itinerary for this day to ensure you are able to get the most out of your time on the island. Stops will often include the likes of Cuillin Mountains, Dun Beag Broch, the Black Houses, the Kilt Rock Waterfall, The Old Man of Storr and the Trotternish Peninsula, and of course the capital of the island, the beautiful coastal town of Portree. It’s the perfect Scottish experience giving you a chance to visit waterfalls, springs and historic sights all set amongst some of the most beautiful landscapes anywhere in Scotland.
Day 04 FORT WILLIAM : Exploring of the Isle of Skye and the boat to Mallaig
On the fourth morning of the tour, we will continue to explore the Isle of Skye, taking in some of the highlights in the south of the island. We will then join a ferry from Armadale to the beautiful fishing village on Mallaig, located on the West Coast of the Scottish mainland, which will be our lunch stop for the day. There may also be an opportunity to join a Wildlife Cruise here.
A stunning journey of the Jacobite Steam Train
Later in the afternoon, we will join the Jacobite Steam Train (or Hogwarts Express!) and enjoy the stunning 2-hour train ride, which is often described as one of the world’s most scenic railway journeys. This trip will take you through the jaw-dropping views of the West Highlands, including passing over the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct, to the town of Fort William, which will be our overnight stop for this third and final night of the tour.
Day 05 EDINBURGH : Dramatic Landscapes of Glen Coe.
After a restful night in Fort William, we will start our journey south towards the impressive Glen Coe. We’ll have ample time to take in this stunning glen and explore the Glen Coe Visitor Centre. Whilst here, you will be able to learn more about the MacDonald clan, and the horrifying story of the massacre they suffered.
The beauty and history of the Lowlands
We will then continue our drive through the remote expanses of Rannoch Moor, some of the most dramatic scenery in Scotland. If you want to experience the beauty of the Scottish Moor, this is the place! We will stop for lunch in Callander, situated on the River Teith, this is where we’ll say goodbye to the Highlands and continue into the Lowlands. We will stop to see the impressive Kelpies – 30-meter-high horse head sculptures of a mythical Scottish creature, which are said to hide in the lochs and rivers of Scotland, before returning to Edinburgh.
Day 06 Fly back home Your memorable Holiday ends.
Today it’s time to fly back home. Say goodbye to the wonderful new friends you have made on the tour. Check out with pleasant memories of your European trip which you will cherish for a lifetime. (Breakfast)
