ITINERARY : -

Day 1 - Munich (Germany)

The Bavarian capital of Munich is where we’ll begin our journey through this picturesque and historic country. After meeting our Tour Leader and fellow travellers at the hotel, we’ll clink glasses over a sumptuous welcome dinner.

Day 2 - Munich – Regensburg - Rothenburg - Wurzburg

After breakfast, we’ll board the mini-coach and move on to our first stop: Regensburg. Located on the mighty Danube River and known for its medieval city centre – we’ll relish some free time to stroll across the 12th-century Stone Bridge, marvel at the magnificent Gothic Cathedral and enjoy lunch at our leisure. Then: we leave Regensburg behind as we continue onwards to Rothenburg. On arrival admire some of the most important sites of the city such as the town hall, the market square with the Council Drinking House, and the George Fountain. Have the opportunity to walk over the city walls and visit a historic gate. If you prefer, focus your tour on the main churches, such as the Jakobskirche or Wolfgangskirche. Have the chance to get to know the parks and gardens of the old town and enjoy the fantastic view of the romantic Tauber Valley. We’ll continue our journey along the Romantic Road to Wurzburg.

Day 03 - Wurzburg - Rhine Valley - Antwerp

After breakfast at hotel take an orientation tour of the Old Town with our Tour Leader, we’ll turn our attention to the splendid Würzburg Residence. An exquisite example of baroque architecture and one of the most significant palaces in Europe – we’ll have plenty of time to admire the ingenious interior design, ornate rooms and grandiose Garden and White Halls. The German adventure continues, as the tour heads to one of the most picturesque sections of the Rhine River. Arrive in the Rhine Valley(Mainz) and relax onboard a Rhine riverboat as it travels into the heart of this region. This is the most concentrated stretch of castles in all of Europe. It also features vineyards, charming medieval towns and lofty cliffs. Learn more about the castles, many of which are in ruins. Afterwards, Proceed towards Antwrep.

Day 4 - Antwerp - Bruges

Antwerp is an absolutely magnificent city. It definitely seems more like a fairy-tale, than real life! Every single building, yard, fountain or church amazes travellers with its magnificent decorations and mysterious stories! However, despite all this luxury, this city stays extremely cozy and loved by locals. There is are big skate park or graffiti hiding just behind majestic church and street musicians playing in the crowded alleys. Let’s find out all the secrets of Antwerp, that it carefully hides from inexperienced travellers! After lunch we continue our journey towards Bruges. Discover the wonders of Bruges, one of the most romantic city in Europe on this unforgettable guided tour including its lively squares, cobbled streets, medieval buildings and canals on a boat ride. Stroll through Burgos’ Old Town, admiring the impressive Plaza Mayor and visiting the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria, the Cartuja de Miraflores monastery, an important Gothic building, Cathedral of St. Andrew, the Old Town Hall, and the famous House of Blues.

Day 05 - Bruges - Ghent - Dinant - Luxembourg.

After breakfast we continue our journey towards Ghent. Take a boat close to the amazing Castle of the Counts to discover the most beautiful places of Ghent. A guide will take you through the fascinating history of medieval Ghent and its historical buildings and architecture on this 50-minute tour. Enjoy the famous three towers of Ghent, various medieval churches and monasteries, the birthplace of Charles V of Spain, majestic guild halls, a breathtaking castle, and much more! Hear the stories behind these magnificent monuments. Continue your journey towards Luxembourg. Drive through the scenic Belgian Ardennes forests. Visit the picturesque village of Dinant with its fifteenth century collegial, its citadel and its tiny saxophone museum (optional). Continue to Luxembourg City, capital of the Grand Duchy. Here, your driver-guide will take you to the Kirchberg quarter, site of many of the buildings of the European Union, such as the European Court of Justice, and the European Commission. Wander the streets of the old town, and go to the impressive Notre-Dame Cathedral, a beautiful example of late Gothic architecture with Renaissance adornments. There will be time to marvel at the Palace of the Grand Duke, and see the city’s fortifications during some free time in the city center. Overnight at Luxembourg.

Day 06 - Luxembourg – Heidelberg – Baden-Baden

A visit to Germany’s oldest and most famous university town is on the agenda today. Looming high above the Altstadt (Old Town), the red-sandstone ruins of Heidelberg Castle are a remarkable example of Renaissance architecture – and we’ll have plenty of time to explore the castle grounds at our own pace. Choose to take lunch in the cafe-lined Marktplatz and marvel at the Gothic Heiliggeistkirche church towers, before we continue on to the spa town of Baden-Baden. The evening will be free to enjoy some local fare in town or relax at the hotel.

Day 07 - Explore 'Black-Forest' & Alsace's Wine Route.

After breakfast, Today we explore best of 'Black-Forest' via B500 route. Drive on actual Black Forest High Road between Baden-Baden and Freudenstadt. There are magnificent views of the Black Forest valleys, the Rhine Valley and Alsace and the Voges Mountains along the entire route. There are also a large number of tourist highlights, such as Lake Mummelsee, the Lothar Path or the newly opened wilderness path on the Bühlerhöhe. Continue your journey towards Obernai(France). Obernai, a small city well-known for its historical monuments. Admire the Place du Marché, with the imposing belfry, the Wheat Market, and the beautiful 16th-century well. Then, stroll through the picturesque Rue des Juifs. From Obernai drive to the picturesque town of Riquewihr, You will likely fall in love with Riquewihr. This fortified village surrounded by vineyards was built in the 16th century, and it is as if time has slowed down in this town. Riquewihr is another Alsace village listed among the Most Beautiful Villages in France. At the entrance of Riquewihr, you will find several wine producers offering wine tastings and their best bottles of Alsace wine. Next,drive to Kaysersberg Vignoble, a small town nestled at the entrance of the Vosges Valley. Kaysersberg means “the Emperor’s mountain,” and the ruins of the imperial castle (13th-century) that dominate the city have an incredible charm. From Kaysersberg, drive to Colmar. Colmar is also known as the Little Venice of France. A city known for its well-preserved old town, and its numerous architectural landmarks. Its winding cobblestone streets, half-timbered medieval houses, and early Renaissance buildings feel like out of a Disney movie - probably because Colmar was the inspiration for the village in Beauty and the Beast. Admire the Saint-Martin church, the 13th-century old Gothic church in the city. Overnight at Colmar or Freiburg.

Day 8 - Colmar - Titisee - Fussen

After breakfast at hotel, Continue your journey towards Titisee. The Titisee is a lake in the heart of the southern Black Forest, a region known as the Hochscharzwald (the 'High Black Forest'). The village on the shores of the Titisee is actually part of a community officially known as Titisee-Neustadt. Next, visit the little island on Lake Constance where you could appreciate the great views of Alps. If the weather is good, we'll drive on Alpine road from Lindau to Oberstaufen and Immenstadt and finally arrive in Fussen. Check in the hotel on arrival.

Day 09 Fussen - Neuschwanstein - Munich.

You will walk into the fantastic Neuschwanstein Castle built by Ludwig II. This is the symbol of Germany and one of the most popular tourist attractions. Approx. 09:45 AM Arrival at Neuschwanstein Castle. Entrance tickets are provided by guide. Departure time to be announced by guide on board. Duration of stay: approx. 3 – 3,5 hours. 45-60 minutes: time at the guests´own disposal (lunch, photos) 45-60 minutes of time to reach the castle either on foot or by shuttle bus if possible. Bus is not operated in snowy conditions. Time to visit view point Marienbrücke (closed due to renovation in 2022). Guided tour of castle Neuschwanstein starts approx. 11:15-11:30 ; duration 35 min. Time spent in castle minimum 45 minutes. 14:20-14:50 PM Departure time at Neuschwanstein Castle. After the castle tour, head to Oberammergau, which is famous for its Passion Play and exquisite crafts. Along the way, we will make short stops at Pilgrimage Church of Wies and Ettal Abbe. Then continue to visit the famous Schloss Linderhof. It is the smallest of three royal castles and was built by King Ludwig II during the 19th century as a hunting lodge. Built in French Rococo style, the castle has a Moorish pavilion which can be visited during your one hour stay. You have the option to join a guided tour of the interior of Linderhof. Tour in the castle: app. 25 minutes. After the tour, Proceed towards Munich. Overnight at Munich.

Day 10 FLY BACK : Your memorable Holiday ends.

Today it’s time to fly back home. Say goodbye to the wonderful new friends you have made on the tour. Check out with pleasant memories of your European trip which you will cherish for a lifetime.
